Are you sick of shaving? or are you reacting to depilatory creams? then why not give waxing a go.

When you use a shaver you cut the hair off giving it that blunt feeling, which when the hair starts to grow back gives you that ‘itchy’ feeling.

Depilatory creams are used to ‘disolve’ the hair, these sorts of creams are used mainly on the legs, armpits, and pubic area. One side effect can be irritation or chemical burn from the cream being left on to long. Using the depilatory cream can also not guarantee to get all hair out , especially those stubborn hairs.

With waxing you are completely removing the hair follicle and bulb ,so for the hair to grow back it has to start its growth right from the beginning of the growth cycle. Depending on each person’s individual hair growth will depend how often you need to get your waxing done. On an average around 3-4 weeks on areas such as brows, upper lip, face, armpits, and 4-6 weeks for bikini lines, Brazilians, and legs.

When it comes to waxing there are 2 forms of waxes, Strip wax and Hot wax.

Strip wax you apply the wax to the skin after preparing it ,apply a strip and pressure and remove the hair by removing strip quickly. Strip can be used on eyebrows, upper lip ,face ,armpits, bikini and part of Brazilians and legs and toes.

Hot wax is when you apply the wax to  your skin, and you use the ‘lip’ of the wax and removed quickly. Hot wax can be used to do eyebrows, upper lip, face, armpits, bikini and brazilians.

I also have available ‘Pharo sugaring’ for those that suffer from eczema or psoriasis,or just want an organic wax to be used. Ingredients are aloe Vera, sugar, lemon juice, kiwi extract and manuka honey.
